Sign shapes and engraved art for state signsThis wood sign has been routed to the shape of Virginia but it could have just as well been in the shape of a fifth wheel the shape of a cottage or any type of rustic camping shape you could think of. We can mark where your home town iswith a star or other symbol and we can also add carved 3d scenes and animals such as bears deer or elk to your sign. We can also do 2D images too such as a favorite pet or person. All you have to do to do a 2d engraving is supply a photograph and we will trace the likeness of the subject and transform it into vector artwork which can be engraved right onto your sign. The best woods from the forrestWe have a great selection of hardwoods and high density board from which to make your selection. Currently we have a large supply of black walnut and white oak but we also have mahogany and red cedar as the base for your new sign. PAINT VARNISH AND COLOR Your state sign can be finished in natural clears or opaque paints in a wide array of colors. We can work with Sherwin Williams paint colors so a trip to the Sherwin williams store to look at their paint swatches will help in choosing colors. You can also choose most any color and we can take the RGB colors and convert them to Sherwin Williams colors. We strongly reccomend the use of oil or acrylic based enamels for exterior use. We are open to your ideas, If you have an idea for an unusual sign please do not hesitate to inquire about it with us. We are not afraid of challenges and in fact we welcome them, sometimes what you might think of as an off the wall idea turns out to be something that everybody else wants so we are always looking at new sign and plaque ideas.
