How is a sign of engraved plastic made?The procedure for manufacturing a sign of engraved plastic is fairly simple the sign fonts and graphics are laid out and designed in a CAD/CAM program specific to the purpose. The resultant G-code is then sent to the CNC engraving machine and the carbide engraving cutter mills the design through the first layer and exposes the contrasting color below thus making the engraving.
